Lost Foam Coatings
Lost Foam Coatings are specialized refractory coatings designed for application on expandable polystyrene (EPS) patterns in the lost foam casting process. They perform a critical function in governing metal flow behavior, controlling gas permeability, and protecting the mould interface during the thermal degradation of the foam pattern.
These coatings are engineered with optimized particle size distribution and controlled permeability, allowing efficient evacuation of decomposition gases while maintaining sufficient resistance to metal penetration.
